How are plastic bottles turn into polyester

How are  plastic bottles turn into polyester.

Have you ever been curious of how clothes are manufactured by plastic bottles? It’s a long and complicated process, but here are  steps of turning old scrunchy plastic bottles into polyester.

The first phase is sorting, it is then it is shredded into tiny segments.
This also helps get rid of liquid that you might have left in the bottles, so it doesn't affect the standard of the plastic. Then they separate the clear from the  coloured.

This also helps get rid of liquid that you might have left in the bottles, so it doesn't affect the standard of the plastic. Then they separate the clear from the  coloured.

The following step is it is drained in corrosive caustic soda, so employers  have to be  a little bit more cautious it is bad if our skin is in contact with the corrosive caustic soda. Then it is it left in the oven  because it's wet from all that process the employers have to exercise back and forwards with their carts to catch the plastic from falling.

The upcoming step is when it is left into bits and pieces they then put  through the rotating screw.Which is heated 270 degrees celsius ,this  liquefies the plastic but it leaves big lumps so to do that it goes through the save and comes out the other side.

It is converted into a great long thread and collected in containers, but it's not enough to make clothes so it needs to be mixed together and stretched constantly. While it's heated this will bring together the fibers.

But even though it  looks done it has to be shredded apart then it is made into fluff. Which is used to produce polyester and transferred into another factory that does it.Then is sent to a little machine that scrapes it into rough clothing, and then it is carded with the  5 brushes that are combined, and is ready to be turned to thread.

The machines spins it of and it is turned to pure polyester, and collected on the bobbins and is taken to a machine. That brings in thousands of threads and weaves it all together, next is they create tiny loops on the surface. And is put in a steel brush it helps tear the loops made in the surface to give it a soft feeling to touch.
